LEGO Masters Australia Vs The World Season 6 Episode 3 Twisted Tales Final Builds Brick Bracket

LEGO Masters Australia Vs The World Season 6 Episode 3 Recap

Challenge – ‘Twisted Tales’

In LEGO Masters Australia Vs The World episode 3, teams take classic tales and recreate them in new genres in this storytelling challenge.

There are eight stories: Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Goldilocks, Beauty and The Beast, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel.

The eight genres are: Action, Science Fiction, Western, Crime, Horror, Martial Arts, Historical Epic, and Sword and Sorcery.

As holders of The BIG Brick, Germany and Denmark can choose their story and their genre from the list.

Charlie (VIC) & Haley (QLD) – Australia

Goldilocks & Martial Arts

With Haley doing martial arts since a young age, this combo is perfect for the team!

Their story is Goldilocks running out of a Dojo with a blow of porridge, being chased by the three bears who live there.

Eric & Ben (NSW) – Australia

Rapunzel & Sword & Scorcery

The boy are building a giant tower with Rapunzel at the top, with her hair flowing down. But the hair is controlled by a sorcerer, stopping the Prince who has come to save her. They built characters to best portray their story.

Dianne & Shane (WA) – Australia

Wizard of Oz & Action

The team created an action scene between Dorothy and the Wicked Witch. In the style of a jumping/gun shooting scene, Dorothy is shooting water at the Witch, as she melts away.

Sam & Emilio (VIC) – Australia

Peter Pan & Historical Epic

The fellas decide to set their scene on the most epic of historical stages, the colosseum. Creating a battle scene between Hook & Pan. Emilio works on the colosseum, while Sam builds the characters.

Krystle & Michelle – USA

Cinderella & Western

Being from Texas, the ladies are very happy with genre. They are doing the classic scene of Cinderella coming down the stairs, but instead of a glass slipped, she of course, has a cowboy boot.

The team made a smart choice of not building a full castle, instead just insertable facades to give the grand illusion of a castle.

Camille & Caroline – France

Alice In Wonderland & Crime

Originally basing the build around the tea party, where one of the playing cards has been poisoned, Brickman questions if it will work. Adjusting their build, they do the crime see as a cut up playing card. With the Mad Hatter beside it holding scissors.

Ida & Peter – Denmark

Beauty & The Beast & Science Fiction

Building a robotic beast proposing to a futuristic beauty, the beauty is rejecting the beast because he is a robot. With the added amazing detail of a light up heart of the chest.

Annalena & Felix – Germany

Little Red Riding Hood & Horror

Strategically choosing Little Red Riding Hood because it’s already a horror story, the Germans put themselves in a great position! Annalena is in charge of building the wolf, which turned out amazing. Felix is ‘doing the rest’ as he said, plus Red Riding Hood, which is one of his first character builds.

Judging

First of all, Brickman calls forward the top two teams. Annalena and Felix are once in the top two, Brickman saying the artistry in how they built their scene really impressed him. Joining them, Michelle and Krystle, impressed by the world they crafted. But it was Annalena and Felix winning once again, making them undefeated.

Being an elimination, it’s time for the bottom two teams. He first calls forward Ben and Eric, followed by Sam and Emilio. Brickman reminds the two teams of the goal for the challenge. He tells Ben and Eric they got off to a strong start, getting started right away, but time lost building the tower how they did, meant allowances were made.

For Sam and Emilio, Brickman compliments their characters, being the first ones they have ever done as awesome. But he feels the genre card was really tough. Saying their Colosseum didn’t do the job.

Sadly this episode, Sam and Emilio are sent home.

In the next episode, ‘Is It Fake 2.0‘. Guest Sophie Monk is in the studio again to guess if a build is real, or if it’s LEGO.
